The INSOIL Project is tackling plastic pollution from agriculture by developing fully bio-based, in-soil biodegradable mulch films, plant guards, and fertilisers.
Our goal? Replacing harmful single-use plastics with sustainable, high-performing alternatives tailored to real farming needs.
On 19th and 20th June 2025, the INSOIL consortium met for the first time in Valencia, to outline the work ahead for the next 6 months, and to form the base for a strong collaboration. Partners got a chance to meet each other, discuss the required tasks in each work package and to align next steps. It was a special honour to also welcome Project Officer Bahar Koyuncu for the event, representing the CBE JU.
Now, with the first steps for the following months aligned, partners are ready to kick-off the first tasks and dive into the work laid out ahead.
Follow along on our journey to a more circular, sustainable future!
