On 28th and 29th May 2026, the INSOIL consortium gathered in the beautiful city of Opatija, Croatia, for the third General Assembly Meeting. The two day meeting offered ample opportunity for exchange on the progress achieved during the first year of the project.
On the first day of the meeting, each Work Package presented the progress and achievements of the past year and defined some next steps. A social dinner at the Opatija Yacht Club restaurant concluded the day with cold drinks, fruitful discussions and a view across the shore.
On the second day of the meeting, the consortium visited a testing facility of Particula Group, where Luka Dobrovic gave insights into their microalgae and bacteria biotechnology processes applied in the project.
These two days were filled with productive discussions, new ideas, and collaborative problem-solving. As the project moves forward, we are excited to build on these conversations and turn ideas into results together with all project partners!
