The Research and Transfer Center for Sustainability and Climate Change Management is a research and development institution at HAW Hamburg that analyzes R&D problems, particularly in the field of climate and sustainability, and proposes solutions through local, national, and international project-based approaches. The FTZ-NK has extensive experience in coordinating and cooperating in research projects with a focus on sustainability, climate change, environmental management and sustainable development. Specifically, the Circular Economy Division of the FTZ – NK is involved in the activities of INSOIL project.
The HAW team is leading the work package on communication and dissemination of the project. HAW maximises public awareness and visibility among key stakeholders and end users, communicating the objectives as well as achievements of the projects to the public. This includes the development and updating of the website, social media channels and the development of training activities and materials. HAW is also responsible for setting up the INSOIL Facility, which will harmonize and utilize the project results and disseminate information and services to primary producers, industry, and policy. This infrastructure will support technology transfer from research to industry in collaboration with all INSOIL partners.
Additionally, HAW is also responsible for collaborating with stakeholders through identifying and engaging relevant stakeholders, such as primary producers, policy and standardization experts, as well as industries across the EU. These stakeholders will support product development and evaluation activities and contribute to labelling and standard recommendations. The engagement is implemented trough activities such as conducting stakeholder mappings and collecting feedback for the development strategies of INSOIL agriproducts.
The team consists of Jelena Barbir, director of the Environmental Management and Circular Economy Division and responsible for the stakeholder engagement strategy, Jasmin Röseler and Patrycja Karwasiecka, project managers, who are overseeing the communication and dissemination activities.
